ATLANTA, Oct. 17, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Miles Alexander III of Alexander Goshen partners with Tenth Street Ventures, ARRC Capital Partners along with Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, U.S. Congresswoman Nikema Williams, Georgia Senator Sonya Halpern and Atlanta City Councilmember Byron Amos celebrated the ribbon cutting of 12Hundred Studios at 1200 Mobile St., a 40-unit apartment complex in Atlanta's Hunter Hills neighborhood. Atlanta Affordable Housing Fund (AAHF) provided the senior loan for the project, while American South Fund Management (ASFM) provided equity.
The ribbon cutting for 12Hundred Studios in Atlanta’s Hunter Hills neighborhood marked an important milestone in Alexander Goshen’s growing portfolio of mission-driven housing developments. As highlighted by BLDUP, the 12Hundred Studios project brought together Tenth Street Ventures, Miles Alexander III of Alexander Goshen, ARRC Capital Partners, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, and other civic and development leaders to celebrate the transformation of a previously vacant property into a 40-unit affordable studio apartment community at 1200 Mobile Street. The project converted the property into fully furnished studio apartments with attainable rents at 60% of Area Median Income, helping create quality housing options for low-income residents near downtown Atlanta. The development also includes a meaningful supportive housing component, with 25% of the units reserved for individuals experiencing or exiting homelessness through partnerships with Open Doors and HomeFirst. Supported by financing from the Atlanta Affordable Housing Fund and equity from American South Fund Management, 12Hundred Studios demonstrates how public leadership, private development expertise, and impact capital can work together to deliver practical housing solutions in communities facing affordability challenges. For Miles Alexander III and Alexander Goshen, the project reflects a broader commitment to adaptive reuse, affordable housing, and community-centered real estate development that creates lasting value for residents and neighborhoods.
